Terracotta Colored Boho Wedding

Madison and Samuel are some of the most genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting yet alone working with. Their terracotta colored boho wedding in May 2022 was one for the book, but I wanted to tell you a little background on working with this amazing couple.

I remember when Madison and I first chatted on the first when she was searching for her wedding photographer; she made the comment to me that there was no other photographer out there that she was interested in working with. This statement honestly blew my mind as I am one in a sea of hundreds-on-hundreds wedding photographers!

I couldn’t wait to meet Madison and her fiancé Samuel in person as just speaking with her over the phone made me so happy with how sweet she was. A few months went by and the three of us met up for their engagement photo session. Madison and Samuel love spending time outside together (specifically fishing). So, I took them to one of my favorite locations in Central Texas- Chalk Ridge Falls.

The park is the host to tall, beautiful tree, a waterfall, and river. Things you don’t find often in the heart of Texas. After some time at the park, we climbed our way down the large rocks that make up the Stillhouse Hollow Dam in Salado, Tx. I had never gone to the spot we were headed, but I know it would be so worth it and very fitting for them. We made it down to the shore of the lake with their fishing rods in hand. As we watched the sun set, Madison and Sam casted their lines and snuggled on the shore. Pure bliss.

Following that first meeting by a few months came their wedding day. One I was so excited for! Madison and Sam shared their vows in front of all their friends and family a quote barn venue in Thrall, Tx- The Barn at 5S Ranch. The venue is the definition of simple and western.

There were so many details wrapped into their day that just screamed “Madison + Samuel”.

The vibe was warm and western. Terracotta colored linens and dried florals gave the ultimate boho vibe. Strung lights in the venue. And a cotton candy sunset to finish off the evening.

The emotions that this day help was 2nd to none. The number of happy tears captured were uncountable. Truly a 1 in a million-wedding day.
